During the past three years, we have vacationed in Europe and each trip included a visit to the Tuscan region. We discussed purchasing a home or apartment in Tuscany since we fell in love with its small towns, rich history, and vista views. During our research, we learned about fractional ownership. A perfect fit for us since we live in the United States. Following further research, we discovered Borgo di Vagli. After several emails and phone conversations with Lee and fractional owner, Michael Farver and lots of pictures and videos, we decided to become owners - site unseen!! Perfect for us in the heart of Tuscany with its stunning views, relaxing atmosphere, and easy travel to other parts of the Tuscan region and Italy.
Our first visit in September was amazing. The staff, Daria and Lucia, were welcoming, helpful, and very patient in answering our questions. Fulvio Di Rosa, the founder of this 14th century hamlet, was the consummate host at our first dinner! Loved listening to the history of how Borgo di Vagli came to life. We finally got to meet Lee who was just as friendly and helpful.
The food at the Trattoria, I’ cche c’è c’è, was a five star Tuscan feast cooked by Dina and Tizana. Pizza night was a hit as well.
We plan on visiting Borgo annually to get our fix of our Tuscan paradise.
