And the winner of this months Owner’s photo competition once again goes to Noëlle Pottier from Saint-Hilair, France
In Noelle’s words: “This image was taken from a white (unpaved road) between Acquaviva and Montepulciano. We like to go there in the Autumn, in order to admire the golden vines, as well as the red ones in some places.”
The town in the background is Montepulciano. The little “peak” to the left is the Convento dei Cappuccini, a nice place to see (as it is usually the case, these convents are established in beautiful places). If you follow the road which passes by this convent, you reach La Foce the former home of Antonio and Iris Origo. This is a very beautiful trip on white roads.
