The Italy bug bit us on our first trip in 2006 when we had an opportunity to spend 16 days exploring the country with our 2 kids in tow. Rome, Florence, and Venice—all were spectacular for us to explore, but upon returning to Texas it was always Tuscany that kept calling us back.
